Download KnightTrader Poly
Your $39 payment unlocks the Windows and Mac installers. The app installs next to KnightTrader BloFin and keeps its own folder, so the two do not share keys, ports, or a tray icon. On first open, paste your Polymarket API key, secret, passphrase, and wallet private key. You also need a one-time ~$5 Nous Portal credit top-up, paid to Nous, to create the AI key.
Local-first. The private key and CLOB secret stay on this PC. The desk reads the Polymarket account those keys belong to.
This is for a Polymarket account you already control.
You need a computer, a Polymarket account that can hold pUSD, and four values from that account: API key, secret, passphrase, and the wallet private key. The app does not hold the money. It does not ask for your bank login.
You want the 5-minute crypto board watched for you
Every five minutes the assistant re-reads the crypto up/down markets, including any that end inside that same window. It bets only when it can write down an edge.
You do not want to build the scheduler yourself
The installer sets up the local assistant, the encrypted key store, and the five-minute job. You paste the four Polymarket values and a Nous key. You do not edit PATH or write a cron file by hand.
You do not want a hosted bot holding your key
KnightTrader Poly is not a cloud product. The app, the assistant, and the keys live on your computer. You can read the logs, stop the schedule, or uninstall it without asking anyone.
What it actually does, in plain English
KnightTrader Poly is a desktop app for Windows 11 and Apple Silicon Macs. It runs a local assistant against the Polymarket account whose keys you paste in. You watch the desk. You can stop it any time.
You fund Polymarket with pUSD
That balance is the only money this app can use. Start small. The assistant is told not to size up until the account is 50% ahead of where it started.
You paste four Polymarket values
API key, secret, passphrase, and the wallet private key. They stay in an encrypted file on this PC. If the pasted API key is rejected, the app derives CLOB credentials from the private key and uses those for the account read.
You install the app and add a Nous key
Download the installer for your system and run it. Nous Portal needs a one-time ~$5 credit top-up, paid to Nous, before it will issue an AI key. After that the app picks a free model.
The assistant checks every 5 minutes
Each pass uses Polymarket CLOB v2. It scans crypto 5-minute up/down markets, scores the book, and either does nothing or buys the exchange minimum of 5 shares. Markets that expire within those five minutes are included only if the same edge test passes.
You keep the kill switch
Stop the schedule in the app, or quit the app. Closing the window leaves it in the tray. Your pUSD stays on Polymarket. Revoke the API key there if you want the app to lose access.
What it does not do
A few limits, so you know what you are installing.
A 5-minute crypto contract can finish against you. The 5-share cap until +50% is an instruction, not a promise. You can lose the stake.
Funds stay in your Polymarket account. The app never sees your debit card, your bank login, or a withdrawal address.
New orders are rejected from a blocked network. The How-To names which free Proton countries Polymarket allows. If the geoblock check still says blocked, the app will not open a new order.
The assistant needs this PC awake and online. The How-To tab shows how to stop Windows and macOS from sleeping.
What you get — for $39 flat
One payment of $39 is the app. Setup also needs a one-time ~$5 Nous Portal credit top-up, paid to Nous, to create the AI key. No KnightTrader subscription.
The KnightTrader Poly app, with the trading desk reading cash, portfolio value, and open positions from the Polymarket account tied to the keys you paste in.
An .exe for Windows 11, and an Apple Silicon .dmg. They install beside KnightTrader BloFin. The Mac build is not notarized: if macOS blocks it, right-click the app, choose Open, then Open again.
A local schedule that scans 5-minute crypto up/down markets, including markets ending within five minutes, and stays at 5 shares until the account is up 50% from its start.
Equity and positions come from that Polymarket account. Decisions are written to a log on your PC.
The app checks the KnightTrader Poly releases and can update itself. It does not update into KnightTrader BloFin.
The API secret and the private key stay on this computer. They are not uploaded to KnightTrader.
Select your OS — download the installer
$39 one-time for the app, plus a one-time ~$5 Nous Portal credit top-up (paid to Nous) to create the AI key. Haven’t paid yet? The sales page is here.
Windows: download the KnightTrader Poly installer .exe, then double-click to install.
Windows 11 or later. Mac: Apple Silicon, macOS 11 or later. The .dmg is not notarized.
What happens after you download
Five steps. About 30–60 minutes the first time, most of it on Polymarket and Nous, not in a terminal.
-
1
Run the installer
On Windows, double-click the .exe. On a Mac, open the .dmg and drag KnightTrader Poly into Applications. If macOS says the developer cannot be verified, right-click the app and choose Open.
-
2
Open the How-To tab
It walks through keeping the computer awake, creating the Nous key, and pasting the four Polymarket values. It does not send you to another exchange.
-
3
Enter the keys
Paste the CLOB API key, secret, passphrase, and wallet private key. They stay on this PC. Then paste the Nous key created after the ~$5 credit top-up.
-
4
Install the assistant
Use Install Hermes in the app, then auto-configure the five-minute job. The job name is separate from the BloFin app, so both can run.
-
5
Watch the Trading tab
Cash, portfolio value, and open positions come from the Polymarket account those keys belong to. If a number looks wrong, stop the schedule before you add more pUSD.
Questions people actually ask
Does this work on a Mac?
Yes, on Apple Silicon. Open the .dmg, drag the app into Applications, then right-click it and choose Open the first time if macOS blocks an unidentified developer. Intel Macs are not in this build.
Can I run this next to KnightTrader BloFin?
Yes. Poly uses its own data folder, its own ports, and its own updater. Installing it does not replace BloFin, and updating one does not update the other.
What do I paste in?
The Polymarket CLOB API key, secret, and passphrase, plus the wallet private key for that account. Anyone with their own four values can point the app at their own account. The pasted API key is tried first. If Polymarket rejects it, the app derives credentials from the private key for the account read.
Do I need a VPN?
Only if your own network is blocked. Free Proton usually lands in the Netherlands, Mexico, Canada, Singapore, Romania, Poland, or Japan. Use Mexico or Romania. Netherlands and Japan are usable for this app only when https://polymarket.com/api/geoblock says blocked: false. Do not use Poland, Singapore, or a generic Canada server.
Where do the keys go?
They stay on your machine, in an encrypted local store, and in the assistant’s local folder when you install it. They are not uploaded to KnightTrader.
Is the $5 Nous cost recurring?
Not from KnightTrader. Nous Portal requires a one-time ~$5 credit top-up, paid to Nous, before it will create an API key. After that the app selects free models. You pay Nous again only if you switch to a paid model or Nous changes its billing.
Is this a subscription?
No. $39 once for the app, plus the separate Nous top-up. There is no KnightTrader membership check.
How do I get an older build?
Use the KnightTrader Poly releases page.
Can I lose money?
Yes. These are short crypto up/down contracts. A wrong window loses the stake. Only deposit pUSD you can lose in full, and check the desk.
